Who Me?

I’m Scott and this is my blog, but that’s probably quite clear already right?

You’ll notice that the blog is quite sparse, well that’s intentional. I’m a big fan of simplicity and so have taken the conscious decision to rid my pages of excess “gubbins” so that your reading experience is less cluttered and hopefully a more pleasant one.

Now grab your macchiato and let’s begin.

I’ve been in the technology industry now for 18 years and have been an international consultant for the last 8 of those, both as an employed and freelance Consultant.  I say international as I’ve spent time working in the US, several locations in Europe and a whole lot of locations in the UK (I’ve lost count).  My main focus is around systems integration, business process management and software architecture and so a lot of my posts will reflect these topics.

When I’m not geeking it up, I’m trying my best as dad to my little boy Noah (3 at the time of writing), enjoying music and movies, writing my own music (when I get the time that is) and travelling between my home in Amsterdam and my UK projects.

I hope you find my blog of some use and please let me know your thoughts on any of the material I publish.

  1. Hi Scott,

I really like your site and am following you on Twitter. Have you any interest in returning to the UK for the right position?

Look forward to hearing from you.
